First Stop Korea

I can’t wait for this adventure. I spent a few hours doing the initial research for this trip, and here is what i found out:

Oxford is a great site to use to start your research. Although, the website is essentially designed to sell their services, it gives you the info you need to compare the countries in which you can teach English.

I found out that Korea one of the best places to teach English if you are looking to save some money. I would have to sign a contract for a year to teach English at an institution so that they would cover my flight and provide a place to live. According to teacheslkorea the demand for private tutors is very high, and can prove very lucrative. This site provides more detailed info about Korea and the describes the first hand experience of other teachers in various regions.

Although you only need an undergraduate degree and a passport from an English speaking country to be eligible to work in Korea, i will likely get a TESL degree from Oxford. With the degree i will have more opportunities and will likely earn more money, and will also improve my grammar. You must are reel happy to hear that. That will mean better blogs.
